Hudson House

A ground-up single family home in the beautiful town of Hudson glides over the landscape to create a peaceful retreat for its owners. The metal clad structure interfaces the street on one side and an open yard on the other. Through the careful shaping of the site a garden is introduced on the street side to emphasize the continuity between the front and the back of the house. The structure is elevated on wooden columns and opens up to the backyard via large south-west facing windows to introduce the most amount of daylight. The finishes used throughout the project embody an affinity towards authenticity and natural materials.
