Midtown, New York City
3,500 square feet
The interiors of LT Burger boast grand Beaux Arts finishes original to the 1916 building such as floor-to-ceiling marble walls, columns, and stone floors. The restaurant’s design is focused on mid-century style. The expansive dining room features a prominent bar reminiscent of a 1950’s diner, displaying jars of marshmallows, gumdrops and colorful straws on a shiny zinc counter. Tufted leather booths, banker chairs and ornate metal lighting fixtures evoke the era’s bustling NYC eateries. In the back, the open kitchen glows with light and activity, flanked by a massive vintage wash basin in the center of a service station.
